After the bigger release of 1.6.0 with Pages, print views, and the MCP server, this time I rather moved the feather duster through the corners of Atlavium. The small things that make everyday life smoother took center stage. Selecting the same Realm by hand every time? No longer necessary. Losing quick access while scrolling through long content? Also over. And in between, I gave the Keeper a bit more room to research, so he does not hit his limits as quickly on more complex questions.
A few fixes that had piled up in the background are part of this release as well. As always: if you notice anything, let me know.
Added
- Your starting Realm in your profile: In your profile, you can now choose which of your Realms should be active when Atlavium starts. That can simply be the one you used last, if it is known, or you pick the Realm you use most often.
- Keeper page creation in view: When the Keeper creates Pages for you, you can now follow how the process runs and which sources he draws on to fill the fields.
Changed
- The sidebar stays within reach: The Realm sidebar with the Compendium quick navigation was reworked. It now stays visible and follows you when you scroll through long content.
- More research for the Keeper: The Keeper may now make up to twelve tool calls instead of eight, so he can answer more complex questions with more thorough research. I am still looking for the sweet spot so I do not overburden the old gentleman. Otherwise he might run off on me.
- History outlives content: Previously, the whole history of a piece of content was deleted when the content itself was deleted. That is no longer the case. This way you can still find out whether an entry once existed in the history (activities) for a piece of content.
Fixed
- The MCP login process received several fixes, because using OpenAI in developer mode caused problems. I still plan to submit an official plugin in the coming days.
- After scrolling through long content, the side quick access of the Compendium could no longer be used, even after scrolling back to the top. That works again now.
- The Keeper's page creation was fixed in several places and now works more reliably.
- When uploading images, the Hetzner storage could briefly decline. We now simply ask up to five times whether it has finished its hiccup.
- When saving documents and other content, the search index update could fail to happen. That should work better now. A manual update can help but is not necessary: all index entries that are not quite current are being refreshed once, which can take a moment.
