A world is more than a stack of notes.
A place has inhabitants. A faction has ambitions. An old event explains a present conflict. Atlavium is a TTRPG worldbuilding tool that gives those connections a place to live and keeps them together.
Describe the parts of your world
Create entries for people, places, factions and other types that suit your setting. Use descriptions for narrative detail and folders, categories and tags for organization.
A city can start with three sentences. A faction can wait until your group actually meets it. Write what you will use at the table, and leave the rest for later.
Record what connects them
Who works for which faction? Who was there when the harbor burned? Record Relationships and World Events on the relevant entries. Link your notes as evidence so you can look up where the information came from.
Over time, these links become a map of your world: start anywhere and follow the thread, from the harbor fire to the people who remember it.
Let the world keep its own time
The Realm Calendar follows your setting’s own reckoning of time. It is separate from the calendar used to arrange real-life sessions.
Note festivals, seasons or turning points and connect them to the places and people involved. The dates follow your setting, not your group’s meeting schedule.
Start with one place, not an encyclopedia
A harbor, two inhabitants and one unanswered question are enough to begin. Describe what you intend to use first. Add entries and connections as they become important to your story.
Your archive grows through use, session by session. A world does not need to be finished before you play in it. The first version only needs to be useful.
Built around your setting
Atlavium brings no preset world and no rules system. You decide which types of entries your setting needs: a pantheon, a guild, a trade route or something else entirely.
You keep your own names and structures. The archive follows your world, not the other way around. The same tools work for a classic fantasy world, a science fiction colony or a modern city.
Your world is yours
Your Realm is private by default. You decide what leaves it: a handout for your group, an export, or nothing at all.
There is no public feed and no forced community space. Your notes belong to you.

Create your first Realm, add two characters and record what connects them. Your Atlavium can grow with your stories. Compendium features will remain free within your granted allowances.
