My demo world Mistmarch was a sample I had only shown in screenshots. With 1.14 I can open it: anyone with the link can read the world without an account. That is the most visible part of this release. The other half matters just as much: you can now work on the same Realm together without handing over your accounts.
A Realm is personal. When several people write in it, you need clear roles and a clear boundary. And when a Realm becomes publicly readable, that must not happen by accident. Collaboration and public reading are two separate decisions. You make both yourself.
New
- Work on one Realm together: The Owner invites an account from their Fellowship as an Author or Reader. Authors write in the same Canon. Readers read it and use the personal features enabled for them. Every invitation is bound to an account, valid for seven days and accepted or declined on the Manage realms page. Management, the Keeper and a full export stay with the Owner.
- Public reading: In the Collaboration settings you can enable public reading. Visitors open the saved state of the Realm without signing in. Characters, places, sources, images, Sessions and the World Graph keep their familiar views. Search and previews work. Editing, personal areas, the Keeper and exports stay closed. For Sessions, the plan and agenda remain private while the description and recap are public. Secret Markdown blocks are removed before output, including from previews, search results and counts. There is no separate publication state: whatever is saved is what the next visitor reads. Anything already delivered to someone cannot be recalled. You can switch public reading off at any time.
- Settings by role: Realm settings are now split into General and Collaboration. Owners find the name, image, public reading and members there. Authors find categories, World Entity Types, Markdown and Page templates, Diagram templates, event categories, World Graph vocabulary and search vocabulary. Anything a role may not use does not appear at all.
- Activity: Activity now shows who made a change and places the time before the person's name.

Fixes
- Canon drafts: Drafts on the Canon no longer get lost during conflicts or when a target is deleted.
Try it
Mistmarch is now publicly readable. Open the welcome page and follow Mira Fenn through Greyharbor. If you prefer German, Nebelmark tells the same story in German.
The demo shows the saved state. When you create a Realm of your own, you decide what becomes Canon.
