Show the connections
Give your relationships their own view.
The World Graph shows everything that is connected. A diagram shows the excerpt you choose: a family, an organization or a network of alliances.
A chosen excerpt, not the whole world
Diagrams are their own content in the Compendium. When you create one, you choose between a family tree, an organization chart and a relationship network.
World Entities supply the cards, and the relationships from the World Graph supply the lines. A relationship you enter once can appear in several diagrams. For each diagram you decide which people, offices and connections belong to it.
Family trees
A family tree arranges ancestry and partnerships so that lines of descent stay readable. Parents, grandparents and siblings meet at one card per person.
The relationship roles keep general, biological, adoptive and foster parenthood apart. Partnership and marriage are separate relationships. Two people with a child do not have to be a couple, and the tree does not decide that for you.

Organization charts
An organization chart answers three questions at once: how an organization is structured, who belongs to it and who answers to whom.
Units and offices can be their own World Entities. Memberships, office holders and reporting lines stay visible as labelled connections. An office can outlast its holder, and an unfilled position stays recognisable as such.

Cards with Profile details
Add a portrait and selected fields from a Profile to your diagram cards, for example a title or a short description. You decide which details appear; missing values are left out instead of guessed.
Templates save recurring settings for a diagram type. Anyone building several family trees or organization charts with the same card layout does not set it up again each time. New diagrams take over the saved version of a template; existing ones keep their own state.
Export and sharing
Diagrams can be exported as SVG, PNG or PDF. You choose which cards to include. A reduced export removes Profile and source details, and you control portraits separately. An export does not make itself anonymous along the way.
When you share through your Fellowship, a bundle is created with the content the diagram needs. That can include Profiles and gallery images of the World Entities involved. Profile fields you have not shared stay excluded. Check the bundle before you send it.
How it fits together
Your Keeper treats a diagram as one more source in your Realm. He sees the excerpt you saved, which can help him answer questions about a family or an organization.
The nicer view alone does not create new world knowledge: a diagram organises what you have already recorded. The World Graph remains the full view of all connections and events. You do not have to choose between them: find a connection in the World Graph and bring the relevant cards into a diagram.
